   "Nevada's Adventure Course" does not offer your normal golf experience, and that's not at all a bad thing.
   This nine-hole layout, carved out from the desert terrain by local golf enthusiasts, is completely raw and unadorned. Players are advised to bring along their own swatch of carpet or astroturf to play full shots off the bare tees and fairways. The greens are, for the most part, small patches of fine "reject" sand spread atop the native soil.
   It's not all brown out here though; three Astroturf greens are currently in place, and several more are planned for installation in 2004.
